payment notification emails not working

Suddenly this morning I am not receiving payment notification emails.  I received 2 payments... no emails came in.

 

I checked my PayPal account and in the profile, notifications, I can't select the email notification for "receive a payment" – it says "this isn't available".

 

What's going on?

The problem is persisting.  I received 3 payments today and no payment notification emails.

 

I think I found the problem... it looks like all of PayPal's outgoing email servers are blacklisted.

 

I checked the sender's IP on a received payment notification and it was 173.0.84.226.  Then I checked that IP here, http://www.senderbase.org/lookup/?search_string=173.0.84.226, and here, http://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=blacklist%3a173.0.84.226&run=toolpage# .

 

The CISCO senderbase page will show you the other IPs used by PayPal for email... they are all blacklisted.

 

If anyone gets on the phone w/ PayPal, please relay this info to them.

Same problem for the last month.

 

The email notifications for payment received and sent are no longer working. An announcement comes through that a payment was made or recieve but the body of the message is blank, no info, and the sender email is no longer tied to the message, instead it goes to a no replay adress.

 

Also the info comes through on the email on an iphone (as if it is designed for IOS, but will not display on regualr computer mail.

 

What am I mising?

I'm in the same boat as all of you, and it's very frustrating.  I did receive an email notification on November 1 that I had received a payment in my account, but that was the last time I received any notice.  Since then I have gotten around 3 or 4 payments but NO NOTICE.

 

Also, since I'm not receiving notifications, I figured no one else is either, so I had to ask one of my friends if she got the money I sent her (kind of a gofundme situation), and then she checked and DID receive it, but it's SO embarrassing to both the giver and receiver to have to ask!

 

Please advise if there is anything we can do at OUR END to get these emails going again -- thank you!

The PayPal mail server's IP address is blacklisted again:

This is what's causing the payment notification emails to not reach recipients.

 

Someone please contact PayPal support and ask them when this recurring problem will be resolved.
