paypal error when purchasing ebay item

Whenever I try to pay for my item it starts to go into the secure network and then says payment confirmation error or that it can not be processed. There are no error codes. I have the funds available to pay for the item. What do I do?

First I would log into the paypal account and make sure to payment was made.

If no payment, I would then clean out the history, cookies and temp files of the computer

I can't even get to the pay pal   from ebay....it goes as far as processing and I get the error Explorer has stopped working,  I called and was told to change my browser.   (Does "Pay pal have some kind of deal going with fire fox mozilla?) Thanks a lot...mozilla locked up my old computer now youre telling me I have to use it to get my New win 8 to work. Will chrome work.. Everything worked just fine until you started messing with you screens..,,...If it ain't broke don't fix it.  I
