we are selling our 1997 kenworth truck on kijiji and someone made an offer and she told me the safest way to make a payment is thru paypal, so i made an invoice and bill that person the amount that she is going to pay, now i recieved an email from paypal.

his email confirms that you have a pending PayPal payment awaiting onward transfer to your account upon receipt of proof of shipment. 

PayPal would like to inform you that the funds sent to your account from Felicia Taylor has been debited from the buyer's account now awaiting onward transfer to your PayPal account upon confirmation of MoneyGram Ref#. 

PayPal authority would also like to inform you that the funds is currently being held in our database pending onward transfer to your account once transaction is completed. The buyer no longer have any access to the funds, own to the fact that the funds has been debited completely from the buyer's account pending onward transfer to your account from our database upon confirmation of MoneyGram Ref#. 

The payment is pending and will not reflect in your account balance until we receive the proof of transfer from you for confirmation to enable us transfer the funds to your account after confirmation of MoneyGram Ref#.

This is PayPal recently updated policy, therefore, the payment will only reflect in your account immediately the transaction is completed. This is a 100% assurance from PayPal authority to you.

 A TYPICAL PAYPAL SCAM.

They encourage you to use paypal.

You will get/got a "fake" email that looks as though it is from paypal.....it isn't.

It will say the buyer has paid ...you won't have been paid.

If the item / motor vehicle  requires shipping they will tell you that you must pay the agent via western union / moneygram BEFORE the funds are released to you.

They are not interested in the item / motor vehicle, they just want the western union etc funds and you will never see money in your paypal balance.

They also threaten legal action...have a laugh at that one and ignore it as its rubbish.

Paypal NEVER tell you to send trackable, they advise it for seller protection etc but it is not compulsory.

Paypal NEVER tell you to send an item before the payment is showing in your paypal account.

Paypal NEVER expect you to use a rival money transfer service.

Also their is no seller protection on paypal for any type of motor vehicle so paypal is the last thing I would use to sell a car.

Delete any emails and ignore the scammers.
