Adding funds to resolve negative balance.

Hello, i have a negative balance and i'm having trouble adding funds to my paypal account to clear a negative balance. My account has a negative balance because my bank account has failed on a number occasions and payments have been reversed.

I am wanting to pay by debit card to pay off the negative balance. Paypal sent me an email explaining:

 1. Go to www.Paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
  2. Click ‘Resolve Negative Balance’ under ‘Balance.’
  3. Click ‘Add funds using your debit or credit card’ and click
‘Continue.’
  4. Choose the card you want to use.
  5. Enter the amount and click ‘Continue.’
  6. Review your information and click ‘Submit.’

There is NO option that says "add funds using your debit or credit card" when i click on "resolve negative balance" It just says add funds from bank account which i have already tried, waited 7 days and it failed. Even though i have a debit card linked to paypal i cannot add funds from it!? I have tried ringing but lines are closed. I just really want to pay it off!

Sounds like you and I are in the same situation here. I have followed the exact steps that you have and have become very frustrated.  I have never had a negative balance before and I'm doing the best that I can to resolve it. I called customer support three times and have not received any help. If you find out what to do, could you pass on any info? I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!
