LINK EXPIRED - CANT GET FULL ACCESS

Hi
I was told earlier via email that in order to gain full access to my account again I would need to change security questions/password etc. The problem is on the final page it keeps saying sorry link expired or sorry something went wrong when I submit. I have tried this several times, logged out and back in again cleared internet history and tried different browsers but still no luck. Any suggestions ?

It sounds like this may have been a spoof email that you received. If you are referring to a link inside an email then I would not advise to click on this link.
Here’s how to change your password or security questions:
- Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk
- Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
- Click ‘Change’ beside ‘Password.’
- Choose the account information you want to change and click ‘Edit.’
- Enter your new password or security questions and answers, and click ‘Save.’
If you think you’ve received a phishing email, forward it to spoof@paypal.com. Then delete the fake email from your inbox.

the loop i receive (link expired) is from navigating directly to paypal.com, not from emails.

In this case then I would advise that you call us directly to discuss your account, sounds like it may have a limitation and we can help you with getting this removed.

not more than two minutes ago i attempted to reset a forgotten password, the link that paypal sent to me a minute ago has 'apparently' expired, how on earth am i supposed to spend my money if you in your wisdom are sending out 'duff links' ?

It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
