New Debit Card Same Number but Different CVV Number and Exp. Date

So I've been trying to update my debit card on Paypal because it expires this month but for some reason PayPal is not accepting the new cvv number.  What can I do about that?

Is the ccv also called the issue number cus if so i found this.

If you need to update your debit card’s start date or issue number, you must remove the card and then add it again with the updated information.
