Halifax Bank Account Verification - NO CODE or £0.01 Received

Hi,

I'm trying to verify my Halifax bank account with Paypal and haven't been sent £0.01 with a code for verification and nothing appears in my account or on my statement. I've tried quite a few times over the past two months but had no luck. Anyone face a similar issue and how did you resolve obtaining your 4 digit code to verify your Halifax account?

Hi there,

In most cases, bank confirmation can be completed within minutes, but can occasionally be delayed for a number of reasons. These include; additional processing time at the bank; a security concern with your PayPal account or a technical issue.

I will provide advice for all three situations.

A. Some banks can take 3-4 working days to process a bank transfer. You should consult your bank to check if any transfers have been made or if any are en route to your account.

B. PayPal may have detected suspicious activity with the bank account. In this case, no deposits would be made and the bank would also be removed from your PayPal account with a prompt to contact customer service.

C. There may be an issue with the confirmation process. If you continue to experience this issue with no progress, please contact PayPal UK customer support here to look into it further.

Please note; Each time a linked bank account is removed from PayPal, it is recorded on the system. If you continue to repeat this, the bank account could become blocked from PayPal.

I hope that you find a resolution soon.

Best Wishes,

Jason C
