Fed up of having to wait for paypal to review my withdrawl requests.

transfered £50 and it went through fine, try and withdraw a larger sum and it gets held up for up to 3 days apparently,??????

how can one transaction go through fine and the next is held up, this is a complete joke i am so hacked off.

someone needs to give me an anser very soon, already contacted watchdog and am compiling information for trading standards.

are paypal going to compensate me?

perhaps i should be charging THEM INTEREST.

Im having this issue... i have been a verified member for years and never had to wait for a pending withdrawal..

I've also been using PayPal for years and have never had to wait this long for money to be transferred to my bank account. Before recently, I could choose to pay £5 for an express transfer and the money was generally in my bank account within a  maximum of 12 hours.  Now there is no longer this option and all my payments are being held for "review" - which generally takes a full 26 hours.  I can't help wondering if this is a deliberate strategy to get people to use the new PayPal debit card.

I am experiencing this also.  I have been a paypal user for 7 years never had an issue.  It is fine for small amounts but any large amounts are held up "pending review by paypal".   This is a blatant excuse to hold the funds!!  Why offer a service and then stick barbed wire around it?

Paypal really is Pathetic in every sense of the word. I've read you ladies and gents have problems with £50+ withdrawals...

...I've had paypal 'review' £11 transactions before, and at the moment i'm waiting for £19 to go to my bank account....also again, under 'Review'...£19! 😐 ...Really?! 

I've been a member of ebay + paypal since 2004... 😕 

If action is going to be taken with regards to Watchdog then i'm all in, had enough of small amounts being held for ranson oh sorry 'review', or my account being restricted 3 times in one month last year for No reason. No suspicious activity nor any transactions except when I needed to buy a fuel filter from ebay. Rang Paypal, told them literally to shove it and went to Peugeot to buy the item instead. 

Unbelievable conduct from such a large company. Sort your act out Paypal else you'll find people WILL rebel and won't use your costly services.

Hi sorry to bother you,

ive tried to put 150.00 from sales into my bank account and it has been pending for ages now, also im suppose to recieve 2 small deposits from pay pal to my bank account so it can be verified and this hasnt happened either

Please can some advise me

Have just withdrawn £150.00 without any problems - Money will be in account within 2 hours!

Then came the email - Your funds will be held for up to 24 hours or more for a "Security Review".

Have been with eBay/PayPal for more than 10 years and this is the second Security review in a month!

So, how do we complain to watchdog? I want to for sure!

I had the very same thing yesterday morning for the very same amount. Called them, given some rubbish excuse but assured would be released within 24 hours. Guess what? Yep, still "pending". Called and was told that I hadn't requested until 9.45pm. Not true. Eventually the guy agreed with me but said because I'd not had a notification email until PayPal sent it last night, it would be 24 hours from then. It's shambolic, they don't send me the email due to their internal administrative burden yet I'm punished. 

I have been using PayPal for Christ knows how many years and they do this. If the money ever turns up, I’ll vote with my feet and use another provider for these kinds of transactions.

It's not an insignificant amount but they assure me they don't earn interest on our money while it's pending..... of course they don't!!

Complaint sent - and also complained to many other places.  Let's hope we can stop this craziness!!!
