Paypal Can't confirm my identity. Please help!!

I am told Pay pal can not confirm my identity at this time when I try and transfer money into my bank account. I don't understand it. When i click transfer money I enter the bank account that I have registered and that it seems to recognise but still it says the same.

Can anyone shed any llight on this problem.

Sometimes PayPal requires additional information.  Have they asked?

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. No they have not asked they just say to phone if i need more help but its a bit pricey so I am trying this forum.

Is your account currently limited? If it is, there will be a case “Requiring your Action” in your Resolution Centre. We can’t check the specifics on your account through the Community Forum I’m afraid, but if you wish to contact our Customer Services team, there is an option to do so via email. Just click on the “Contact Us” link at the bottom of any PayPal screen.

Hi, I am very new to selling items on eBay using PayPalI, just made my first sale on eBay and money has now transferred to my PayPal account. I suspect the same question appeared here zillion time Smiley Embarassed

 

I tried going through the Help, but getting really confused - I just need to know how to transfer the money from PayPal to my bank account. I assume my PayPal account is already linked to my bank account as I use PayPal regularly to pay for my purchases on eBay (credit card details set up). Do I need to authorise the withdrawal to my bank account/credit card or is it credited automatically? If I need to do it manually, i there a facility somewhere  to do that e.g. a button on a screen etc. 

 

I will be grateful for an "idiot-proof" advice; thank you

Welcome to the Community!

 

Our system does not automatically withdraw funds to your bank account from your PayPal balance. You will need to click the Withdraw option on your account in order to withdraw the funds directly to your bank account.

 

Once you click the withdraw option, you will be advised what bank account the funds will be withdrawn to. If you don't have a bank account active, you will be asked to register a bank to your account in order to be able to withdraw the funds.

I am trying to transfer money from my bank account to my PayPal account but I always keep getting the blasted, "can't confirm identity" message over and over and over. I called customer support and I was told I had been verified, but I apparently have not. I am really frustrated because I could not find much help on PayPal's help and there is no option for me to verify my account. Plot twist, I am a verified PayPal user yet am not when trying to transfer money from my bank account to my PayPal account. I would love to have a simple, EFFECTIVE, very good and extremely helpful step-by-step solution to get rid of the annoying message. I don't have any limits that I know of and I would really love to simply transfer money when I want without that aggravating stupid can't confirm ID message when I have done everything required! Thank you!!
