As far as I know PayPal will never automatically iniate a whithdrawal and you will always need to request the withdrawal yourself.
You can do this by following these steps:
Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk
2. Click 'Withdraw' near the top of the page.
3. Click 'Withdraw funds to your bank account' or 'Withdraw funds
to your bank account even quicker'.
- The faster withdrawal option offers a quicker service (1-2
working days) and includes a fee of £5 per withdrawal
- Regular withdrawals are free (will take 2-3 working days once
status shows as Completed)
- Withdrawal timeframe does not include bank holidays and
weekends
4. Enter the amount to withdraw and choose the correct bank
account, then click 'Continue'.
5. Review the details before completing.
- For 'Faster Withdrawals' enter the 'Wire sort code' in the
required field
6. Click 'Submit'.
Faster withdrawals can only be used to withdraw funds to a UK bank
account.
Note:
- You can still withdraw funds using an unconfirmed bank account
- For unverified accounts, there is a minimum monthly withdrawal
limit of £500 (to lift this limit, click on Get Verified link)
You'll need to make sure all the information is exactly matching your bank account e.g. If the name on your account is slightly different it wont work so when it asks for the name make sure you enter it as it appears on your statement. i.e. you cant just have J SMITH if the statement shows the name JOHN SMITH and all names must be SPELT correctly.
You can also contact PayPal by telephone via the contact us page and request a withdrawal
