I have completed the PP forms etc to add BUY NOW buttons on an e mail and also onto a web site (1 & 1 format)
I select the code, copy and paste but in both sirucmstances it comes up as a line/lines of code and not a button.
Anyone help me solve this please?

Hi keithnicholls,
Welcome to the PayPal community forum.
May I suggest that you do one of the following to copy the selected text to see if it helps. Also ensure you java script is enabled as if it is disabled then it may not work for you.
- For Windows and Mac, right-click on the code, and then select Copy.
- For Windows, press Ctrl+C.
- For Mac, press CMD+C.
Thanks for posting

Thanks for your reply. I have tried to do it again and checked on Java but still I get a line of code and no button. I am using OUTLOOK. I type the e mail and then copy the code in and it comes up as code. I send it and it stills remains as code
Any other suggestions?

Hi keithnicholls,
Apologies in advance for the long reply but I taught it best to provide you with all the information I had.
On your website, in the editor there should be a ‘code’ or ‘html’ button. If you click on this you should see the HTML code and you will be able to copy in the button. This should then display the button correctly.
For the email the best option is to copy the email link for the button. You can attach this link to an image.
You can also send email invoices directly using “send money” feature.
Also some versions of 1&1 don’t need to be edited. Some have them already built in. If you have the full version then I would suggest that you try following the steps below.
Website Payments Standard
- Login to your 1&1 eShop Control Panel.
- Go to Select Payment Methods
- Select "PayPal Website Payments Standard"
- Enter your e-mail address registered in your PayPal account.
- Click "Save" – you are done setting up PayPal Standard for your 1&1 eSh
I hope this helps and please keep me posted as it may help other members.
Thanks
Paula
