Can I re-add my credit card to paypal

Ok, for some reson I was having problems paying for a transaction on ebay... I assumed it was to do with my credit card and was ill informed to remove all my credit cards off paypal and put back on the one I wanted to use only... So I attempted this and paypal refused to accept my card. I went to the bank this morning to see what was going on there is nothing wrong with my card or my account but they mentioned that you can't re-add credit cards to paypal but I only have one card and a transaction ready to be payed for....so basically I would like to know if there is anyway at all I can add my card back to my pay pal account?

Hi there Wouldergal,
If you were to remove a credit/debit card from your PayPal account and then you tried to register it again, you may need to contact us and we can try to reset your card for you. This is because sometimes when a card is removed from a customers PayPal account, it needs to be reset by a customer service agent before it can be registered again on PayPal.
If you contact our customer services department, we can investigate it for you and if possible, reset your card so that you can register the information again to your PayPal account.

How do I contact customer service?
The email form rejects me as it requires the last 4 digits of the card, but there is no card added to my account.

Hi ecli7364,
If you are trying to update the expiry date of your card, you can do so by clicking the Profile option on your PayPal account. From here, you can then click the Credit/Debit Cards option and then click Edit beside the card that you are trying to update.

You will need to call PayPal customer service to reset the card in your account to be able to add it again.
