Can people send money from their bank accounts directly to my PayPal account?

Hello there PayPal-community!

I have been using PayPal for a few years and I am quite satisfied.

But sometimes people can't have PayPal, or live in a country where PayPal isn't supported.

Can these people send money to my PayPal account directly from their bank account?

I know (and use) top-up via internet banking, but if I give the information in that page to someone else, can they deposit money into my PayPal account?

Also, is this method safe?

Not unless you are a business seller and paying for the website payments pro.

But I can send money from my bank account to PayPal by transferring it to the correct bank account with a specific code in the notes.

Can other do the same, give out the information and receive money on my PayPal account?

You can add money from your bank account because your bank account is linked to your paypal account and thus you have set up the direct debit mandate.

You can't do that with another persons bank account !!!!

Thank you, because it didn't say that it was only for my bank account, and I was using a different method before doing this one.
