I've used paypal on ebay for many years without any problems. However, after buying an item the other day, I was unable to pay for it. I keep getting reminders from ebay to pay for it, but Paypal won't let me. This is only affecting ebay and not other sites. How do I rectify this?

Hi Alex322,

If you are still unable to pay may I suggest that you ask your seller to send you a payment request. This should allow you to pay. If you are still unable to pay I suggest that you ensure your registered card is up to date. You can check it in your profile section on your PayPal account.

Not sure if this is right category but I need some HELP advice please. I have just connected my bank details to the secure account and Paypal issued me with a Premier Account. But do I get charged monthly ?? as I am only using to Buy easier online and I thought that was FREE ?! Should I change to a Standard account because I will never need to sell.

Hi, I can't sign in to PayPal through eBay. It keeps saying I'm using the wrong details & to check it. I'm not using the wrong details & have tried the email & phone number option through my phone but it won't let me in????????? HELP!!!!!!!

That's strange.

To resolve login issues, it's usually best to contact us directly by phone though.

Hi,

My Paypal is linked directly to my bank account.

Monday evening I was able to make a payment, but then when I tried to buy another item, I was unable to make the payment. I thought maybe it was just a glitch that evening, so I left it, but then yesterday I tried subscribing to Netflix, and again I had the same problem, my payment was "cancelled". I've tried again today and still nothing, I have also retried buying the item from eBay I wanted on Monday, and still payments are not going through.

I have called PayPal, my bank and Netflix, everyone tells me there is nothing wrong with my accounts, but then nobody can tell me why my payments aren't going through!

Can anyone here help, please???

Me Too Cannot Pay on E BAY.Contacted Pay Pal and was Promised Response within 24 Hours!! Needles to Say no Respnse!!! Also there have been two Attempts to take Fraudulent Payments From my Bank AC via Paypal, the way this is dealt with, or rather not dealt with is totaly Inadequtae!! I think Pay Pal must be a victim of its own Succerss, a Situation which will not last as dissatisfied Customers will Simply use one of the Many Alternative Payment Options Available.

Same here....tried paying just now and it kept saying check email address and password - even if I tried logging in with phone number and PIN ?? I even went through the "forgotten password" to reset my password...and still it wouldnt log me in....I ended up clicking the link that says "dont have a paypal account? Pay with debit card"....just had to enter the card details etc and it went through fine !!

Paypal has been out all day. But only in certain areas...ebay has had some problems today as well...it's my understanding there was some sort of update which failed to register properly.
