Error code #13113

I just tried to pay for an item with paypal through ebay checkout. I get an error message saying...

We were unable to process your PayPal payment because of a restriction on your account. Error code #13113

What can I do now to remove this restriction or how do I pay for this item. I have no unresolved cases in my resolution centre. I paid for an item yesterday with no problems.

I'd appreciate any assistance.

You should first check the balance of your paypal and/or bank account to make sure the funds are available as the error code notes:

13113  Buyer Cannot Pay - The Buyer cannot pay with Paypal for this transaction

Other than a possible funds issue I'm unsure and suggest contacting PP directly.

I just received that message too and i have enough funds on my account. I have some PayPal balance, and i chose to put the rest on my verified bank account, and it won't let me do it.

Thanks for your suggestions. I have no funds in my paypal account but I normally use an instant back transfer or even my credit card. Both never normally have any issues. I tried both but have not joy. I actually bought something else yesterday with no problems. It appears to only be a problem with this seller.

Any other suggestions welcome or if anyone else has solved this problem please let me know.

I will try contacting paypay direct to see if I can get any resolution.

I finally got to the bottom of this problem.

I mistakenly pressed buy it now twice for a particular item. I asked the seller to cancel the second item. While I was waiting on them doing this I tried to pay for the first item by removing the second item from the pay now list. I then updaded the total to the correct amount for just one of the items and not two.

At this point I tried to pay and I received the error code. When the seller finally cancelled the second item I waited a few hours and everything worked fine.

I've since paid for a few other items with no issues.

If you see this error make sure you haven't mistakenly hit the buy it now button twice.

Hey I have the same problem, tried using verified bank account & credit card as payment source.  Neither work.

I did not hit the 'Buy it Now' button twice & I have confirmed the amount.  

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey try paying for the items one by one. It worked for me. Good Luck!
