I too have been stung by this rubbish, I sent a webform off to paypal they advised listing all payment made as a dispute which I now have done to all 8 payments. wait and see what happens from here, I had the same thing happen with a mob calling themselves ag international/ebay intl I got my money back in those cases but not after having every transaction I had honestly made declined and suffered fees on top of it. If Paypal cannot have a secure payment system then they need to shut this service down, I dont ever use this service and this is good reason. Tell everyone who will listen NOT to use this service and complain to paypal to have it shut down permanently.

i have just been stung by this scam as well, in 2016 i would have thought that this would have been sorted out. i got charge 549 pounds from a ficticious paypal ireland today and i only just found out 2 hours about. i have flagged it up with paypal and i hope to god i get my money back. this is evil disgusting cyber crime and its needs to stop. i cant believe paypal is still allowing this to happen. when i get my money back im leaving paypal, i just dont trust it, seeing as me and my kids are going to go hungry until this is sorted out!

It's still happening in 2016. Facebook Ireland somehow managed to set up a billing agreement for ads without my knowledge and took over $500 from my bank account. Have lost all trust in paypal, especially since they couldn't give me an answer to how this scam could be done so easily.
I got a refund, but there is no way for me to be sure this will not happen again. The billing agreement function is a major security concern.
I'm in Scandinavia by the way.

It's the same with me: Today at 2 am (while I was asleep) :
You sent a payment of $244.90 USD to Facebook
It may take a few moments for this transaction to appear in the Recent Activity list in your Account Overview.

In my paypal account, it says this company is in Ireland!!!!
I never bought anything from Facebook in my entire life!!! If paypal sees my profile, it can see I only buy books and online courses!
Why doesn't paypal do anything about this problem, because this is already an old one?
