How long does the setup deposit take?

I've set up my account

Added my bank account and all the rest of it, waiting for the two deposits to go in so I can activate it properly

Any idea how long this will take?

I did it last week sometime, and it's only just telling me the deposits went in on the 26th

so I'm worried it's gonna take ages??

PayPal says 2-3 days for the deposits to go into your account, i've just tried setting mine up and recieved them the day after, however.... after checking my mini-statement and entering the amounts deposited , it's told me that the amounts are incorrect (even tried inputting them in a different order) ... tried three times and it's disabled my account.

It's a shame there aren't any other services doing the same thing that PayPal are , cause i know where i'd be going...

I'm on my 5th day and still nothing deposited.  So just bumping this to the top.

Seems no one from Paypal is listening as this seems a common complaint.

I eventually got the two deposites on the sixth day, and I was told on the phone from someone at paypal that they have had some delays in depositing and I should be getting them in the next 2 days or so, well it evenually came through the very next day..... I surgess that if you havent heard or seen anything in 7/8 days that you contact them again - I actually spoke to somebody as I could see that they had said they did a deposit on a certain date, but it wasnt in my account for another  6 days, maybe they count working days - but every day is a working day for them I would think, so perhaps bank working days.... keep at it, you will likely get there in the end, though it is extreamly frustrating when you are waiting to pay somebody something because you have just bought something, and it can japadise your ebay, feedback record.  I always pay people the minuite I have purchased/won something, so for me this went completely against the grain, and annoyed me greatly.

It takes 2 - 3 business days for us to send it to your bank, your bank may have a longer processing time on top of this that we can't control.

I setup my bank account and stuff last week and just got the deposits today and went to complete the bank setup and its now telling me its been to long and to remove my bank detail and re-do it, whats the point it will just take the same amount of time again.

it shouldnt say it is too long - my advise is set up the bank account when you see the deposits then it is all done together, obviously your bank hasnt changed so start all over again, by setting up and then add the deposite amount the same time or the next day.  It normally only rejects if it thinks that its not your own bank account, to stop faugery etc.

SO TRY AGAIN, OR PLEASE CALL THE PAYPAL HELP DESK - I HAD TOO, THEY ARE FOREIGN,SO THERE COULD BE ACTSENT PROBLEM..... BUT MINE WENT THROUGH THE VERY NEXT DAY - SO THIS COULD BE THE BEST THING TO DO.
