Is this email paypal?  I have received other emails from paypal before with the normal email address 

but this email address had a ® at the end so I am unsure. The email seems okay the only other thing would be the spelling mistake in the last sentence of the paragraph

"You are now mandated to ship the merchandise to the buyer's confirmed address and email us a proof of shipment such as  shipment confirmation code/receipt reference number, this is required for shipment verification in other to transfer the funds in question to your account immediately."

This email confirm that  you have a pending payment from esther nacy

with Transaction ID: 0CP35036HW153935H. The present status of the transaction is *PENDING*  the funds has  been debited from the buyer's account now awaiting onward transfer to your PayPal account upon confirmation of shipment for security purpose.

 its my first time using paypal outside of ebay. So im very confused?

This is most definitely a scam. It has happened me three times already this week. I am selling a phone on Gumtree & Done Deal & got request from potential "buyers" with similar stories. They are purchasing for a relative that lives abroad & can only pay through Paypal,they tell you to send the amount when you do they say Paypal has put it on hold until they receive the goods. They may even send a fake Paypal email. Esther Nacy was one of the buyers that contacted me. So steer clear!!!!
