Lufthansa: Flights booked, but payment status still "pending"

My parents booked two flights with Lufthansa yesterday, and I paid for them with my own Paypal account to avoid the high debit/credit card charges.

Lufthansa have confirmed the flights are booked, but have not been paid for.

In Paypal the payment status is still "Pending".

My Bank account linked to my paypal account has not been debited.

Is this a normal situation?  How long will it take for the transaction to be completed?  I would be keen to hear about ecperiences from other users who have booked flights with Lufthansa and paid for them with Paypal.

Hi there repton3,

Lufthansa accept payments as orders therefore the order sounds like it is still pending.

Once they accept the order and capture the payment it will show as completed.

Maybe contact them direct for an update!
