PayPal Verification via Nationwide Statement... NO FOUR DIGIT NUMBER!

Hi all, I'm having massively frustrating problems verifiying my new PayPal account via my only bank (building society) account, which is with Nationwide. I've tried onliine full and mini statements, been to a branch for a transaction printout, and none of the records show the four digit code required by PayPal to verify my account.

This is particularly frustrating as I have a US$10,000 Indiegogo.com project sat waiting on this - The total time expended on what should be a very simple process is now 6 hours inclding the travel time to the local Nationwide branch and faffing around online.

I am awaiting the next PDF monthly statement on which Nationwide seem to provide additional details - although I am almost considering a different method of funding because of this calamity on the chance that this will not show those ever illusive verification number.

Has anyone else had a similar experience and found a solution please? Any & all suggestions most welcome!

PS. To vent frustration may I add: PayPal, as a graphic designer may I say that your website is an appauling sprawling mess of navigation - what one would expect of a minor, poorly thought out start-up, not the product of a famous multinational brand owned by a billionaire. Shame on you!

Same problem. Tried checking my internet banking regularly and ive had nothing. I'm going to contact paypal, i'll let you all know if i get anywhere!

FYI all, I've received my Nationwide full bank statement that I had been fortunate enough to be able to get within a few days (by switching back to paper statements)  yet even on this most comprehensive of statements from Nationwide NO FOUR DIGIT CODE STILL!

So Paypal, your four digit does not show on mini statemtns, full statements and comprehensive statements from Nationwide??

Same here, been to bank today and nothing, no four digit pin on system or statements, will I still be able to use PayPal without this

Yes i am having the same problem, my new card i wish to use is with Nationwide and I cant obtain the 4 digit code that i need for paypal to verify the account.  Very frustrating.  Now i have been referred as an open case as no payment is made i dont know how to get that code   (rather silly)

Just wondered if there was any resolution to this problem? I'm having the exact problem described and now a limit has been imposed on my Paypal account.

Checked my Nationwide statement and there is no 4 digit pin number shown.

Any info would be appreciated.
