Wondering if anyone could shed some light. Basically I bought something off eBay like I have done many times with the eBay app. Use Paypal to pay, and as usual a 'PAID' notification comes up on the item. A couple of hours later I notice I still haven't received an email confirmation. I check my phone and the 'PAID' notification has disappeared. I log in to eBay on my laptop and it where the payment symbol is, there is an hourglass underneath. When you hover over this symbol it says 'Payment awaiting authorisation'. I then log into Paypal and it says the money has been sent? Five hours later I still haven't received a receipt and eBay is still saying it is waiting for authorisation. What's going on? I have bought many things off eBay and always use Paypal and never had a problem. The only difference is is that I am currently in America, but as I was using the app as normal I thought it would just work the same. I have contacted the eBay seller regarding the situation, but just don't understand why my payment hasn't gone through!
