gifting payments to a buisness

ive noticed a buisness on face book are telling people to "gift" payments for there goods
is this allowed ?
i thought you could only "gift" payments for family
shouldnt the buisness be paying the costs ?

Hi simone01,
You are correct. Gift payments are for friends and family and not designed for the purchase of goods or services. When a payment is sent as a gift payment there is no seller or buyer protection on the transaction as gift payments do not need it.
