Hello
I'm having a bit of a saga with an item that I sold on eBay. I unfortunately tabbed a wrong key when setting my PayPal address for payment.
The customer paid but I was unable to claim the money. After reading on here I got them to cancel the transaction and I then requested the money.
The customer has now come back to me saying they have paid again but I can not see the request or the money anywhere. I am reluctant to post the item until I have confirmation that the money is there.
Can anyone advise what to do. I do not want to mess the customer around anymore than I already have.

Did you make sure your email addy associated with your paypal account was correct when you sent the invoice?
Ask the buyer what they see at their end.
Does it say completed OR unclaimed OR unclaimed with a cancel option.
Then check the transaction details in your paypal overview.

Again the request has gone to the email account that cant be verified. So it will still say pending for the customer. I sent the request from my PayPal account I'm not sure how it got attached to the other account again. Is it because I stated the eBay Transaction number in the request?
Can you advise what to do now.

It will only say pending on ebay for the buyer. On paypal it will say unclaimed, unclaimed with a cancel option or completed.
If it has gone to the wrong email addy again she should be able to cancel again but every time she does it takes a few days to go back to her funding source.
If your email addy was wrong in your ebay auction then next time you list an item to sell you need to change it in the payments section paypal box and then check its correct everytime you list.
Until you have sorted it i would ask her to send you a cheque.
