Justfab have been taking money from my PayPal account for a membership fee I had no clue about. I signed up to the site years ago but did not use the account until October of this year when I made a purchase of £35, unbeknownst to me Justfab has been taking money from my PayPal account for something I don't know about. I was never told about any membership fee and these people have taken £105 from my account. At no time during my single purchase was I told or even reminded that I would be paying membership. Now PayPal refuse to give me a refund. I refuse to let this rest because I was never told about this. Why would I go into an agreement to give away £35 per month without purchasing anything. The delivery took nearly 5 weeks to arrive and the quality of the shoes weren't even great. I am very disappointed a passed off that these people are allowed to get away with ripping off customers in this way. I will not stop until my money is refunded.

Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > and under "manage upcoming payments" top left of page second option down is pre-approved payments.

Then you authorised paypal to pass those payments on to the merchant. Why or how you did it is not for paypal to guess. You need to sort it out with the merchant, all paypal has done is what you asked them to do.

I made a 1 time purchase to JustFab in Oct 2016.  April 2017, mysteriously, $39.95 was charged to my PayPal account under the guise of being a "VIP Membership".  I immediately went into my PayPal settings and made sure that JustFab was not authorized to take automated/ repeating payments from my PayPal.  I then called PayPal for help.  PayPal told me that JustFab is a notorious scam and they are contacting JustFab to make them reverse the charge.  My hope is that by reporting this scam, it will appear on Google searches as "JustFab Scam" and help prevent this from happening to others.

Like you, Madelan, I made a one-time purchase to Justfab UK but luckily and purely by chance I read some reviews that told about this scam of debiting your card account every month unless you "opt out" every month on line. (This monthly debit by justfab is in the small print and not something you can easily see and they certainly dont make this info obvious to customers.) So for the next 9 months I opted out every month and you only get 5 days per month to do this, otherwise they debit your account.  Every time I tried to contact them to cancel my membership they NEVER answered the phone, which is why I ended up opting out for 9 months.  Eventually I made contact to cancel and they even made that difficult by arguing everything they could to to stop me cancelling.   Dreadful company.  Rotton scam. Steer clear!
