accept payment button not working

I have two clients who have paid me directly (i have not sent an invoice) and when I clicked 'accept' to accept their payment, nothing at all happens. no page loads, nothing changes it just stays on the same page, as if the button isn't linked to anything.

 

I've had this problem once before however it started working again within 24 hours and I was able to accept payments again with no trouble. However this time it's been three days and I'm still unable to accept these payments.

 

My account is 100% verified, I've been accepting payments in this currency for a long time with no problems. 

so it's neither of those things. It's just that the button isn't working at all.

 

I'm also NOT selling on ebay. This is for private commission work where they pay me directly to paypal from their paypal account. 

 

Is there any other page to accept payments on other than the 'My Account Overview' page?

 

This problem is causing delays as I can't start the work they've paid me for until I've been able to accept the payment.

Turns out it was a problem with Chorme. I was able to accept the payments in FireFox perfectly fine. No idea what the problem with Chrome is though. Perhaps that should be looked into

Not sure on this one, however if they are using the send money > goods or services option rather than the gift / family / friends option and you only have a personal account then there is a limit to the amount of card funded payments you can accept.

 

If you have a premier account then go into your paypal summary and check that the currency you say you can accept is still set up on your paypal account.

The currency is still set to be accepted.

 

If it was due to the amount of card funded payments would a notification come up saying that I couldn't accept any more? Because nothing at all happens when i click accept. it doesn't even start to load a new page. it's just... a dead button. on both payments.

Not sure, sounds a bit odd.

 

Think you need to contact customer services on this one.

 

Click on the words "Contact us" at the bottom of paypal pages > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent.

Unfortunately I'm unable to phone as I'm unable to speak properly andcurrently live alone so theres no one to help me and speak for me. I've tried to email but the only way to email is to make a dispute or claim with this is neither really. I sent an email the best I could last night but have yet to receive a reply.
