i have purchased a number of items off ebay using paypal since the 27--3-12, all the payments still say uncleared? Is it because seller has not been on to receive the payment? Or what is going on?
Echeques are when a payment is sent direct from your bank account but it does not go as instant as you don't have a back up debit or c.c. on file with paypal as well.
It also happens if your back up card has expired and needs updating.
The seller has the right to wait for clearance before sending your item.
