Welcome to the boards!
Looking at the Pokerstars website, I can see that the company is incorporated in the United Kingdom. This is important to note, as that will determine whether or not they are able to utilize our services.
Reviewing our Acceptable Use Policy in the UK, I can see that the policy states you cannot use PayPal for activities that "involve gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize, including, but not limited to casino games, sports betting, horse or greyhound racing, lottery tickets, other ventures that facilitate gambling, games of skill (whether or not it is legally defined as a lottery) and sweepstakes unless the operator has obtained prior approval from PayPal and the operator and customers are located exclusively in jurisdictions where such activities are permitted by law.
So, there is definitely a chance that they could - provided that 1) it's legal where they are; 2) it's legal where you are; 3) they have pre-approval from PayPal; and naturally, 4) the merchant decided to include PayPal as a payment method.
Looking at their website, I don't see any indication they accept PayPal, so unless they come back and let you know they do accept PayPal from Canadian members, I would assume they do not.
Thanks,
Adrian

I see Replaysport is a football pool site that accepts PayPal in Canada. How do they get around the law in Canada that does not permit this?

So why cant I use my paypal to add funds. its legal here to gamble. there are video lottery terminals in every bar, scratch and win tickets at every gas station. party poker says that YOU paypal refuses to be a pay option. so what choice do i have? go to your competition? You are going to turn clients away because of some misplaced moral delemia. i trust this company. i dont trust your competition. so why are you forcing me to use their services? I want a serious answer not some B.S "well you see bla bla bla" answer. dont tiptoe around it.
