I have been advised by PayPal to place an indemnity claim with my bank against them after a case was closed in the sellers favour, what will happen, how does this procedure work? Who will be responsible for my refund?

Incorrect advice and information provided by a PayPal advisor. The advisor who closed my case and provided me with innacurate information makes me doubt he had any knowledge at all when dealing with my case, an indemnity claim is used when incorrect amounts are collected and for when a direct debit has been cancelled, not for claiming back my money for faulty goods received, PayPal please check
