Trying complete an ebay purchase.

trying to complete an ebay purchase but keep getting "We are not able to process your payment" error 10417. Funds in bank so don't understand the problem. Customer services sends me round in endless circles

Hi allanlear,

Have you been able to send your payment yet?.If not please review your registered card details to ensure that they are up to date. If there are not please update them and then try to send the payment again.

If they are up to date check your account to ensure that there are no outstanding issues that need resolving.

Finally if you  have completed all of the above and still can not send your payment please contact us by phone so we can assist you. To update your details please go to the profile section on your PayPal account. To contact us please click on the contact us link at the bottom of every PayPal page.

I'm suffering the same problem with a purchase that cannot be completed despite a successful completition with a previous purchase 1 hour earlier. I've checked my account settings and they are ok. Could it be the seller's settings?

I am having exactly the same problem today, is it a paypal problem or an ebay problem?
