hi can anyone please help i recently purchased  from united states a what was listed on e bay as authentic gucci bag however when this arrived it was obviously  fake due to a number of reasons first one being the made in china label inside the bag . i have contacted the seller who was very rude and offensive  insists the bag is authentic and advised that  i could return the item less p+ p and informed me then that it needed to be sent back signed for on delivery there had been issues previously re this item due to parcel being held by parcel force who informed me by letter that it was being held at there depot until i paid  vat on the bag of 23.00 + 8.00 handling fee by parcel force  letter said that this had been requested from customs and excise i contacted seller re postage and she did agree to give me a refund of 15 dollars to this cost  so i then paid parcel force and arrange delivery. i originally logged a item not received for this with paypal due to lenght of time it was taking to arrive  which seller asked me to then cancel and not thinking  that the item was not authentic i then did however now i am trying to lodge a snad case with paypal for this which i do not seem to be having any luck with is there anyone who can help with this please that

Hi Missmaldives,

It is very hard to know what will happen here. What happens when you are closing the case is you are advised that if this case is closed, it cannot be reopened. You are asked if you accept this in order to have the case closed so I am not completely sure if we would be able to investigate this issue any further for you i'm afraid Smiley Sad.

Another thing however is that you have received a counterfeit item from your seller. We may be able to investigate it for you due to this but again, I can not guarentee this for you. The best thing I can advise you would be to try and contact us directly by clicking the 'Contact Us' link located at the bottom of every PayPal webpage. From here, you can then click the 'Call Us' or 'Email Us' option.

If we are unable to investigate the case any further for you, you should check the transaction details page in order to see what funding option was used to fund your purchase. If it was a credit or debit card, you may wish to contact your bank in order to see if they provide protection on your purchase. You may also wish to contact your local Citizen's Advice Bureau as they can also advise you of other ways that you may be able to approach this issue.

I hope this information helps Smiley Happy.

David.
