Claim closing on date BEFORE I opened it

I had to open a case with Paypal after buying goods internationally, giving them several months to arrive yet no delivery.
Now, here is the problem:
I opened the Paypal case on Jan 17th, 2021.
When I view the case details, it says:
If you don’t receive your item by 25 October 2020 at 23:00:39 CET, you’ll be able to escalate this to PayPal.
This case will be auto-closed if it's not resolved by 8 November 2020 at 00:00:39 CET
This is utter nonsense. These dates are months in the PAST, months before I even open the case, to begin with.
The case is not possible to escalate, nor has it closed.
Is this some kind of know bug, or is there anything else to be done?
