So i was selling an item on ebay and this guy asked me to get 3 steam gift cards first and i didnt have the money so a claim was filed and i talked to him he told me they where not gonna arrest me but i wanna know if thats true.
It's a scam, same as scam phone calls, nobody asks for steam gift cards, iTunes etc except scammer and they always say they will send someone to arrest you. I would report it to ebay.
More info would be needed, but there is no way the fbi agent would ask for steam cards to play video games. Not even sure why you were asked to buy steam cards.
