Gearbest package never arrived but Paypal decided not tor refund

Dear All,

I do not purchased insurance next to may package as I used Paypal as an insurance but now I have the problem.

No package and no money.

How is it possible and do you have any recommendation what more I can do within the EU?

I'm sure it is against the law...

Hello

I purchased a laptop from GearBest, which was never delivered.

GearBest admitted that it was returned to them.

I also had paid insurance!

GearBest offered refund (minus the postal expense)

When they did not refund within 10 days I escalated with PayPal and... guess what PayPal ''cannot rule in my favour''!!!

So I have a problem similar to yours plus insurance paid plus transcripts of the messages from GearBest promising refund and I also live in EU

Still PayPal seems to be oblivious

Not sure what more you can do apart from taking it on with your Bank, if you have used a credit card

Also, you can just strike off PayPal from your methods of payment...
