Hi,
I have been a victim of a classical scam, where I ordered "METAL LIGHT SABER" from colorful hairs:
I have received a cheap plastic toy (1$ worth) which was not properly packaged and got broken on the transit! The seller was not answering on both paypal account Email nor on his website. I opened a paypal dispute and I was instructed to send it back (to china) where the costs of sending were much higher than the actual product. I have also seen that the address is invalid:
Address where I should send it:
<removed> Shenzhen, GUANGDONG Province 518000 China
I really don't understand how paypal can be on the side of scammers. They also promise this on their website:
"WE PROMISE THAT OUR PRODUCTS AND PICTURES WILL BE 100% IDENTICAL. IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH THE RECEIPT OF THE GOODS, YOU CAN APPLY FOR A REFUND AND DO NOT NEED TO RETURN THE GOODS. YOU CAN USE PAYPAL TO PAY AND PAYPAL WILL PROTECT YOUR MONEY. "
I mean, are you kidding me! Can anyone help?
Ivan

Hello,
I have the same issue with this seller. I bought a RC car via FB, this was a kids toy worth maybe 10 €, paid almost 60 bucks. Opened a dispute but I only get my money back if I return the toy. As the address is not valid, this won't help. So, money's burnt and I've learned my lesson.
This case decreased my trust in PayPal tremendously...

Hey @zoolan
Can you please list what website you found it on, so we can add it to our list and ensure that every single one of these websites is taken offline. Currently the website that scammed me has already been taken down, and that was www.creative-mall.com.
Good thing you got in early, it is absolutely a scam and you should dispute it with all your might. If the products arrive, check them first and reject them if they are the plastic toys, that way Paypal will give you an immediate refund as the items have not been delivered. This may also avoid you extra costs related to shipping back the items, which for some odd reason Paypal keeps asking people to do, even though they know its a huge scam.
Also, if you have the time go file a police report in your local country, as a lot of us have done. This will help us in the future take further legal action against Paypal and loser Ying for continuing this scam for so many month. Paypal still has not frozen then account of the seller, and he continues to enjoy this scam with new websites.
Hope it works out for ya! If you have any questions feel free to ask, i have already received my refund of $70 and also received a refund of $70 for shipping as Paypal forced me to the ship the items to a know fake address.

I bought this same item on 8th July, and PayPal would only pay on delivery around 22nd July, so I felt confident in the transaction. Just received the item today 31st July and it is that cheap plastic childs toy and to add insult to injury the handle is melted plastic. Looks like something from a £1 Pound shop.
I have raised the dispute via PayPal but as my money was taken before I received delivery I would guess there is not chance of me getting the $29.99 back.

I too ordered a lightsaber. Arrived on the 27july, and is melted cracked plastic poop, that I would have talked my children out of paying £1 for. Seeing the messages on here, I think I have lost the money. Might email Watchdog... they love a good ripoff!

I ordered one of the "FLASH SALE 50% OFF ,FREE SHIPPING-METAL STAR WARS LIGHTSABER" advertised on Facebook from the site https://creative-mall.com/products/copy-of-7-color-transformations-50-off-discount-free-shipping-sta... and paid $29.99 USD using Paypal.
I received a broken and warped cheap plastic toy sent from Liaoning Province, China with a US Customs declared value of $5. My estimate of it's value is $0. I recently escalated a dispute with Paypal after the seller didn't respond to two messages sent using Paypal's messaging in the resolution center. I will post an update when I hear back from Paypal. I advise other victims of this fraudulent seller to do likewise so Paypal realizes the scope of the problem.

They will tell you to send it back, but you cant because the address is invalid!
Guys, this is purely illegal, I am waiting around on somebody with some legal skills and then we can press PayPal. They can not offer the money back guarantee if the seller doesn't cooperate and the sellers address is false!!!
Did somebody tried to get the phone operators to discuss the problem? I did not get pass the answering machinne...

I had the same problem. Product is a cheap piece of **bleep** and not what was advertised for sale. By reading this thread, I'm not going to bother to approach a resolution with PayPal since they will tell me to return the product to a bad address in China. I will contact my bank to see if they can help me resolve this. I payed using a checking account so I don't know if I will have any issues getting a refund. Right after I do that, I will also write several letter to Better Business Bureau and to my bank asking them to stop doing business with PayPal because of their complicity in this matter. They knew darn well there was a problem and did nothing to protect the user. I've been with PayPal for over 10 years. They used to be trustworthy but now...not so much. It's not so much the $29 buck, it's the theft that bothers me. I suggest users start paying online payments through their banks instead of PayPal. At least that should give some recourse.

Thanks for the answer. I completely agree with you. This theft **bleep** me off. I paid PayPal through VISA, but since I have accumulated orders I can not pull one back without pulling them all.
Honestly, I was avoiding using PayPal since forever I tried here for the first time since this was the only way. I don't see a reason of using it at all since VISA does exactly the same thing and you can revoke your money.
Can you please try to call them and let us know?
I think if enough of us proves the scam, they might shut him down and release the money back or at least they will stop him conning people.
