Password keeps changing without my authorization

Last week my password has changed without my authorization on my Paypal account. I immediately changed my password (which admittedly was old) and setup 2-factor authentication.

I just received a notification from Paypal that it was reset again by someone else today, and again I reset it. Whoever is resetting it is also adding a phone number (but it looks to be unverified). Paypal will not let me update my address and when I try to chat with them through their chat box no one ever responds. How do I get someone at Paypal to look at this?

Hello @ventura1980,

Welcome to our Community Forums! I'm sorry to hear you're running into unauthorized activity on your account. Normally, you should be able to report this kind of activity through our Resolution Center. Since you can't access your account though, I'd recommend continuing to try to reach out to our Customer Support teams via Contact at the bottom of any PayPal page. They're also available through Twitter direct message or Facebook instant message.

Best wishes!

Did you ever get a resolution to this? It's happening to me as well even with two-factor enabled. They also added new mailing addresses which I cannot remove from my account.
