Payment Protection and Boost Mobile

I purchased a preowned phone directly through boost mobiles website using PayPal. The bottom of my paypal receipt says "If there's a problem, make sure to contact the seller through paypal by August 28,2020. I did but they're stringing me along and don't have resolution for me. I know the phone has only 90 day warranty however this issue is related to the internal sim card becoming incompatible through their network and not my phone being defective, so I need another card. The problem is that they don't have my specific sim card anymore and don't know if they'll ever see one so I have to call them next week to see if they get one in by chance or call around to every store to see if anyone else has a compatible option. However this option is leaving me with no phone for a week since calling other stores did not help me in any way. No other stores carry it either. So I have a phone that they sold me and for some odd reason the internal sim card has become incompatible out of nowhere when it worked all along. I've never ran into this issue with boost mobile and now I feel like there stringing me along because they don't want to replace my phone. Does paypal's payment protection cover something like this since the phone they sold me will not work anymore do to there internal network sim card issue? I just purchased this phone 5 months ago and don't want to buy another when its a network/sim card issue only. Can PayPal help with this issue?
