Resolution center response is “Let’s try that again”

A seller has offered a partial refund of a transaction. In the Resolution Center I accepted the refund but when I pressed submit there was a long delay and then a screen saying “Let’s try that again. Looks like there was a problem on our end.” Then a button returning me to the Resolution Center. Several tries were made with different browsers and computers, all with the same result. How can a user resolve a dispute when the PayPal website continues to malfunction?

You need to contact customer services to resolve any account specific issues.
Click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available for your country.

Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPal and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Thank you. I’ve tried contacting customer service various ways, to no effect. Just machine responses. I don’t use FB or Twitter, so it appears I’ll have to phone them if the website doesn’t begin operating properly soon. From looking through similar complaints, the website malfunction has existed for a few years.

How are things in Cornwall? Here in the central US we’ve finally had some relief from the scorching heat. Today is perhaps one of the 6 or 7 days a year that it’s paradise to live here.
