This is a little embarrassing but hey nobody really knows exactly who I am I guess. I contacted a female escort and agreed-upon paying her a set amount of money for set amount of time with her long story short she tricked me into sending the payment before and even letting me into the house so after I sent the payment she completely disappeared so I wanted to make a claim of unauthorized Transaction because I was embarrassed about truth about it being services not rendered money for <bleep>. She’s obviously done this multiple times before the PayPal sent she tried to have me send you two separate cash app account the payments were immediately denied by cash app apparently the two accounts are under investigation for suspicious or fraudulent activity so this is why I want to PayPal long story short my claim has been denied for unauthorized transaction. I’m wondering Though that since it wasn’t actually an on authorized transaction but a fraudulent transaction by means of deception services were not rendered and we’re never intended to be rendered I believe this is a complete scam by someone not even in the state I’ve got email addresses as on the escort site and most importantly text messages showing the Deceit. Please tell me that since this is the case and it wasn’t actually an on authorized transaction that PayPal will look into this and if services were found to not be rendered and to be completely fraudulent but I’ll get my money back I’ve got text messages proving I was scammed

Filing "Unauthorized" dispute means someone broke into your account and did something without your knowledge or permission. This does not include scams you took part in or didn't know the person was a scammer. You have to dispute those as Item Not Received or Significantly Not As Described. Another issue is that PayPal cannot be used for "certain sexually oriented materials or services". See section #2, i of: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/acceptableuse-full?locale.x=en_US]
You can call PayPal customer service to change claim reason or forfeit the PayPal dispute altogether and file dispute with your financial institution.
To contact customer service for assistance:
Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.
Call early, during business hours, west coast time to try to get a US rep.
Or contact via social media:
Facebook (US): https://www.facebook.com/paypal
Twitter (US): @AskPayPal
If you do not want to be candid about this transaction or getting your account dinged for taking part in something prohibited on PayPal, just let it go and consider this paid tuition on a lesson learned and not doing it again.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
