I have had my account limited. They have asked for photographic id but the problem is it's in my maiden name and my PayPal is in my married name. I dont have any photographic evidence with my married name in it. I need the limitation lifted as I have money in PayPal that I need to access. I tried to change my account name back to my maiden name but havent been responded too. I'm very frustrated as all I get back is automated emails.

In that case, you need to get cracking on getting documentation in your married name because I think you'd have to get a divorce decree to change legal name to your maiden name. 

Go to Account Settings (gear icon) and click Update near your name and you have 3 options:

1. Change your legal name - Use a new name after marriage, divorce, etc.

2. Update your name - Use your full name instead of a nickname, for example

3. Make a minor correction - Fix a typo of 1 or 2 characters

You are kidding I'm not paying £90 for a new passport when I dont need one I still have 8years on it. It's ridiculous that they need photo id I've sent them my marriage certificate to prove my name after marriage, my birth certificate and my passport. I've also sent two proofs of address one with my maiden name and one with my married name. This is an absolute joke. X
