Twitch SCAM "AUTOMATIC" Payment

This morning I got a charge by "Twitch Interactive, INC" 308,00 USD. I haven't purchased anything nor I had any subscription. I immediately contacted Paypal and said it was unauthorized activity (as it is) and that I have never allowed this charge! Paypal denied my request and said it was NOT fraud and can't issue me a refund. How isn't that an unauthorized payment when me, as Paypal user, didn't agree, purchased or had any subscription! I feel hopeless and I can't believe that my own hardworking money isn't SAFE on Paypal anymore.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community Forum!

If you have an active pre-approved payment with Twitch, all transactions for Twitch will be automatically charged to your PayPal account. Since you give the authorisation to charge your PayPal account when you initiate the agreement, no further authorisation is requested, and this is why we can't consider the transaction as unauthorised. I would recommend reaching out to Twitch directly to request a refund!
