To the right on my FB page there's an add by Ewantic.com Shop for Merrell boots @ 50% off, i.e., $50 free shipping. Looks like another scam site. The first phone # listed under 'contact us' has too many digits. Another has the correct # of digits, but it is an unassigned # AND IS NOT LEGIT. Another clue is no actual address for the seller. Avoid!

I was! Ad pictured Merrell Moab shoes, but shoes were cheap knock-offs. Lousy material! I wouldn’t wear around the block! Not Merrell, for sure! Emailing the company and demanding a refund. Sending shoes back! Will advise if I get any refund at all!

Same here. Purchased via Instagram ad July 17. Shoes just arrived August 12 and are NOT Merrells.

I received counterfeit "boots"too which are too flimsy for trail. Almost no support present in "sole". Size feels not right and no size label on inside of tonque. Labeled "DQ" on tongue so clearly not any any way shape or form Merrell boots. I reported to My Costco credit card through citibank and they are actually providing a refund. You might try reporting to your card to see if your card has similar benefits.

I, also, fell for this scam by a company named "Adoreby".  They advertised Merrell Moab shoes:

https://adoreby.com/products/mens-moab-2-vent-hiking-shoe

and delivered the same DQ junk you noted:

Not Merrell Moab Shoes! Not Merrell Moab Shoes!

Here is the primary discussion that I found on this yesterday:

I'm another one, sadly. The Ewantic website advertised Merrell Moab shoes, at 50% off. Figured it was some warehouse excess sell-off of a discontinued line, but still Merrells.

3 1/2 weeks later the shoes arrived, and they had sent me the DQ shoes, paper thin, hurt my feet after 2 hours and unlikely to last more than a couple weeks.

If I wanted cheap knock-off shoes I would have gone to the discount store down the street and paid 20 bucks, knowing what I was paying for. Their site clearly advertises and promises Merrell shoes, with no hint of "...or a similar product" or anything like that.

So, I wrote back to them right away, with a picture of the shoes they sent me, brand new. Asked for a full refund. Surprisingly they responded within 30 minutes, explaining that their profit margins are low and to not bother sending them back, as the shipping is too expensive to be worthwhile. They then offered a 15% refund of the purchase price ($47.50 USD).

Obviously, I will still request the full refund, given the blatant false advertising. We'll see where this goes. It's encouraging to hear the Costco Mastercard refund might be an option as well, good thing I paid with that.

I ordered these through Facebook ad.  They are clearly not Merrell brand and are cheap imitation shoes.  They offered me 15% refund of $49.99 that I paid through PayPal. I filed disputes through PayPal and my bank.  Next step is a complaint with my state dept. of banking.

I just received an order of shoes ( lead to believe in the add that they were Merrell Jungle Moc slip on shoes.) I ordered 3 pair, in September 2020, order came today over a month late. Only 2 pair came and yet charged for 3 pair. The shoes are knock offs of the original Merrell brand. Cheep imitations. They even label the shoes the same but spell the name differently. All claims in Face Book adds are false. Misleading and stealing money from honest customers. Don’t buy them. Jim Hughes.
