Who and what is SELLY LLC and why is PayPal doing nothing to stop unauthorized payments??

Hello all,

For the first time since using a PayPal account, I've experienced an outrageous problem and nobody from customer support has contacted me to explain what it was about, what they will do to prevent further issue and how it occurred. What happened is, somehow, money was transferred from my account to Selly LLC. I don't know what/who they are, never contacted them, never actually bought anything, I only use my account to receive payments. So, twice in two days, a small amount was sent from my account. I got an e-mail which confirmed that it went through successfully - HOW? How can they let this happen, if nobody has access to my e-mail or password, hence they cannot actually log in?? Anyway, PayPal did give me a refund, but I got no explanations, nothing to make me think 'Oh, okay, they'll fix it and it won't happen again' - which is totally unacceptable, unprofessional and irresponsible, since it's obviously a mistake on their side; call it a system breach, safety issues, whatever, I just can't explain why nobody has contacted me for a whole week! I opened three disputes, sent 1 feedback which explained everything and sent 2 new messages in the last two days, but got no answer. Also, they just closed my dispute as if they had actually done their job. So, I realize it's a long post, sorry about that, I just had nowhere else to go to, and I wanted to see if any of you have experienced something similar?

Thanks!

No, I always use my PC... I did change my password, more than once, and as I said, I never actually conducted any transaction of that particular nature...
I only receive payments, which I withdraw immediately, but I never used PayPal to buy anything or to send money to someone else. This has to be fixed, and customer support still isn't responding in any way. Unbelievable.

Hello SDejan,

There is nothing illegal or problematic with Selly LLC (aka : Selly.gg, type on google for check the website).    If you purchase any goods to a selly.gg seller (anyone can use selly for sell some stuff online), your payment go to Selly LLC.

Try to remember what you buy and from which website (try to type selly in your address bar on the web browser) and you'll maybe get some informations.

Cheers,

I don't know if you hadn't completely read what I wrote, but your answer has nothing to do with my post. I will repeat it here once again. I've never heard of Selly LLC. I never bought, sold, anything via their website, nor did I ever use my PayPal account for online payments. As I said, I only use it to receive payments, which have nothing to do with other platforms or websites. Do you understand now? Also, you are incorrect; I googled it, and found two, or three articles which suggest that Selly LLC tricks people and has several times been accused of fraud. But, I don't know what I have to write in order to get through - I don't care about Selly, I don't care if they're thieves or not, I only want to know how payment from my account can be sent three times within 1 week, without me knowing.
