i recived a refund for a item I did not receive.
shortly after the purchase of this item my account was closed and I opened a new account with a different bank.
PayPal are saying they refunded this amount to the original card (which was closed) and that the bank needs to send it back.
the bank is saying that there is no record of them receiving the funds, as the account is closed and it is not possible to receive or send back any amount.
payPal are saying that it was sent and has never come back, by there records. contact the bank and tell them to send it back.
ok back to the bank, bank confirms there was never a refund and the account has been closed for so long it could never happen. and not record of any amout from PayPal ever being received.
so what can I do now. PayPal got the money back from the seller. telling me its been refunded and only be refunded to the original card.
card and account has long been closed. bank does not have it... PayPal does not have it... where would it be ????
Can some help in any way please.
