Just had a quick question. I currently had a buyer put in a dispute for something less than $100 because they didnt read the WHOLE description of my ebay item and somehow think its my fault? Anyway thats not my issue... I have a negative balance on Paypal now of a certain number under $100 and have had it for about a month while everything is being investigated and so fourth. What I was wondering is if this was going to effect my ccurrent credit score or not? Meaning should I just wait for the investigation to get over and not worry about the negative balance or should I deposit money (which I dont really want to) so its not in the whole. I'm quite sure I will win the dispute with all the information I provided so I'm not worried about that. Does anybody know if this will hurt my credit score?
It shouldn't hurt your score at this point because the dispute hasn't been decided yet.
If it is decided and your account remains in the negative, at some point paypal will turn the debt over to a collection agency and that WILL hurt your credit.
