Buyer bought a item that was out of stock and wouldn't get one for awhile. So I immediately issues a refund.I communicated very well and they decided to make a claim yelling they want there money back.I responded saying I sent your refund. And was very upset they went and opened a dispute because of nothing. The refund cleared and he has received it.I made it into a papal claim. And now I have to provide proof of refund with transaction id.I went to the transaction id and entered it.It didn't work. There was a total of 5 ids in that refund.I tried them all.None of them worked and that's the only refund I've issued. How am I supposed to provide proof when it wont accept the correct id?

A lot of very confusing information there.

Exactly HOW did you provide the refund?  Did you use the refund link in the original transaction or another way?

And what "id" are you using to try and find this refund?  If you refunded in paypal, then you should be looking on your transaction record for the transaction number.

i issued the refund through paypal and in the transaction id of the refund it has an id for payment from, update to, fee reversal from, transfer from bank, refund to. ive tried all 5. and said it was invalid when thats the only refund that was issued and thats the correct refund to the dispute.i dont understand why it would say invalid ive listed all ids in my overview.says it was completed june 5th. and i also narrowed my log for only refunds and the 5 things that ive entered already is all that popped up.

I think you need to speak to someone at Paypal, then.

In your account, click on "contact us" and a phone number will come up for them.
