When I last phoned PayPal on a problem - over a year ago - I managed to talk to a person who sorted the problem out OK.
Today - after the usual runaround trying to navigate through their terrible custeomer service system - I found a page that was supposed to let me contact Paypal by telephone. When I phoned the number - I get an automated system that is as bad as the online one. The only result I got was being told to contact the Resolution Center!
As my problem is about an account descrepancy - it does not fit in their narrow range of options and I am back where I started.
Currently - I am thinking that EBay is doing us all a favour by dropping PayPal. Hopefully the new company will give a lot better service to their customers.
Even this forum has limited subjects when I must 'select a board'!

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top. Log in and get the code.
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent OR just say the word 'Agent'".
In the UK its free from any landline phone.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thankyou. I shall probably have to do that as they have not seen fit to answer my email.
