Hi,
I'm receiving an email from noreply@akinika stating that I owe money to PayPal. I forwarded it to spoof@paypal but had no response saying whether it was or wasnt spoof mail.
When I checked my account it says there is a credit from Paypal of 98 Euros. I do not recognise this at all, but when I follow the instructions to dispute it it says I'm unable to select this type of payment.
When I call PayPal, they redirect me to the online, and online, when I get the above error message it directs me to call. Going in circles.
Why would PayPal give me credit instead of rejecting the payment? I have no idea what it's for, and the fact it's in euros is even more puzzling.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi georginarae91 and welcome,
Firslty, most of our emails are sent using service@paypal.co.uk/com. We would also address the email using your full name. If this is not the case then the email is not from us.
If you are seeing a payment on your PayPal account that is not yours and you were not expecting a payment then may I suggest that you just refund that payment. This will return the payment to the account it came from. If you are unsure how to do this you can contact us on the following so we can help, Facebook.com/PayPalUK or Twitter @AskPayPal.
Thanks for posting and I hope this helps,
Paula
