I bought an item on ebay a few weeks ago and when I was sent a completely different item I made a PayPal claim after the seller accused me of stealing the contents of the package and substituting what I actually received (which I think was a radiator valve).
Paypal advised me to return the item and the address given was to a PO Box in Tamworth, postcode 9JJ. I know the seller is in Bristol (from the PayPal transaction details) so I did think this strange but did as instructed by PayPal. The postcode is showing as defunct on a Google search so I don't know if it is a made up address or not.
I sent the item back at a Post office by Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For. This was 6 days ago. The tracking just says:
"Tracking no. ..............
Item ............ was posted at 25 High Road NG9 2JQ on 26/01/18 and is being progressed through our network for delivery.
Updated on: Friday 26 January"
My question is - what if the PO Box does not exist, or if it does but the owner of the PO Box does not collect the item - will I still get a refund from PayPal?
