Donations in memory/honor of

We have a donate button  through our website. If someone wants to make a donation in memory or in honor of someone, how can we ask for the information so that we can notify the honoree or the family of the deceased

what I did was create a new button with a new name.

can you please explain exactly what you did. Did you keep the donate now button? Have you recieved any donations in memory/honor of where you are being asked to send something to the family? Would you feel comfortable showing me what you've done? Thanks, Carri

the top heading announces the newly-formed fund and has a link to a special page: www.psaltiki.org/stratigos/

there you will see the button. i still have a friend of mine creating a special graphic button that we will use only for the memorial fund in order to differentiate from the normal donation button.

wish paypal would facilitate this more.

with regards to the FundRazr app, I couldn't get it to do what I wanted. our organization doesn't have a facebook presence…

Everyone,

When you create the Donations button, scroll down to Step 3 and expand that section.

Select "Yes' for the section labeled "Can your customer add special instructions in a message to you?"

This will allow them to enter a note as for what the donation is for.

Adrian, our Donations button has been created.  How do we now go in and add an option for "in memory of" or "in honor of"?
