Adding a card from another country

Hi I would like to add my Canadian bank account to my UK paypal accout but the format is different (account number size etc) is there anyway I can do this? I split my time between the 2 countries and dont wanna get hammered with exchange ratesevery time i make a purchase.

Paypal is country specific so if you move country you have to open another paypal account in that country and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.
